Another post another logo for the BRSS boys. This time for the one like GENERAL LAW biggest selecta in the reggae game..........possibly (whose dj derek?)

Anyway heres what i did for him......its an exclusive because he never checks his emails so im not even sure if he's seen it yet!!!!

ANOTHER LOGO.....

Oooo another post, I'm on it at the moment!

This time it's for me, yey! My other sudonym as a dj, DJ MINCEWA! Somewhat of a ridiculous name but I am some what of a ridiculous DJ! I can be found playing on the rig with the other boys from the Bridgwater Reggae Soundsystem playing mainly Fidget and general wonk.

Thats enough heres the pictures......

FINAL DESIGNS...

Okay so in the previous post I showed you the Logo designs i did for he Bridgwater Reggae Soundsystem. After a couple of chats with my boys on the rig, they decided that a couple of changes to the original were in order.

First of all they wanted the speakers changed for their actual rig (makes perfect sense when you think about it really!!) So that created this design........

From this we decided the text needed enlarging and head honcho of the sound Jud Dub thought it might be nice to add a fisheye effect to the rig. Heres what happened then, this then ( I think!) is the final design :)

So there you have it....ONE LOVE....BLESSSINGS.....JAH!

Ok so been a little quiet on the blog front for a little while so think that its about time i updated the world with my goings ons!

Been working on a couple of new logos for the BRSS boys, they're like a second family for to me so it's nice to do something nice :) So a bit of history to begin with.......

BRSS is 100% non-profit and is proud to work very closely with the white ribbon alliance for motherhood, an international, grassroots charity working with some of the worlds most vulnerable people. A collective and a sound that has become well recognisable around the south-west and even further. They play a veritable plethora of sounds from Dub to Dubstep, Funk to Fidget and even a bit of Reggae (as the name would suggest!) If you want more info link 'em.....

LIVE PAINTING........

So the boys from the BRSS asked me to come along and do some live painting at their Rubbadub night in Taunton. Not going to lie it was terrifying, I've never done anything like that before, painting for me at least is usually a solitary thing, an escape to be honest.

With the initial shock over with I really enjoyed myself and courtesy of my lovely sister heres a photo of what was created that night :)

GRAFIKEA

Right so Bristol Design Festival run a competition called Grafikea. The basic outline of this comp is to buy a Lack table from ikea and make it better!! The wheather has been shit this last week and i thought that i wasnt even going to get the thing started, however today i did it....from scratch and im pretty happy with it :)

I thought I'd give you guys a sneeky preview of the table. It goes on exhibition/sale at the old fire station in Bristol on the 5th of June as part of the design festival and grafikea competition.....get along if you can ........x
